Katie Resendiz
Katie Resendiz embodies what most college coaches look for in a prospect; a selfless, hard worker that is able to impact the game in multiple ways. Resendiz has a strong presence inside the paint on both ends of the floor. However, the most intriguing aspect of her game may be her ability to stretch the floor and shoot it anywhere from mid range to beyond the arc at a high level.
The 5’10” forward is also no stranger to the intangibles that makes a player successful. Resendiz is a gifted passer. One of her major strengths is her ability to battle for rebounds and throw long outlet passes that lead to layups. Another part of her game that couldn’t go unnoticed was her active hands and ability to contest shots without fouling.
Katie has big time goals after high school. She wants to play in college and major in political science/government. She is certainly on her way to doing just that as she is a straight A student at Groton, and also scored in the 93rd percentile on her SAT. She also is a member of the crew team.
